About 24-0

We are a small group of Formula 1 obsessives — the sort who read tyre-degradation graphs for fun and argue about undercut windows in the pub. 24-0 started as a back-of-a-pit-wall question: what would it actually take to win every race in a season? Not a dominant year. Every single round. Zero dropped points, zero DNFs, zero off weekends.

The number that started it

We ran the math and it stopped us cold. A car winning nine of every ten races — generationally quick, better than almost anything in the sport's history — sweeps a 24-race calendar only about eight percent of the time. The exponent is merciless: pace gets you to the front, but reliability, weather, safety cars, teammate politics and a rival's one perfect weekend all sit between you and a clean sheet. Red Bull's 2023 went 21 from 22 and it still wasn't perfect. In 75 years, nobody has managed 24-0. That gap — between dominant and flawless — is the whole game.

What we built, and why

So we built the garage where you can chase it. Spin for a regulation era, draft a chassis, two drivers and a principal, then run the telemetry across a full 24-race calendar. We wired in the mechanic that makes F1 F1: you field two cars, and a Grand Prix falls your way if either takes the flag — so the second seat is a real engineering decision, not a footnote. Our mission is narrow and honest: model that near-impossibility faithfully, keep the numbers grounded in real history, and let you feel exactly how rarely a great team runs the table. When your perfect run dies on lap 40 of round 19, that isn't a bug. That's the sport.

How the data works

Driver and constructor names, and the ratings derived from them, come from open historical race records (the Jolpica/Ergast dataset, 1950 to the present). We store names and derived numbers only — there are no team logos, car liveries, sponsor marks, or driver photographs anywhere in the game or on this site.
